MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH GLNS
Great Lakes Networking Society has many opportunities for you to make a difference in the lives of others. Join now and you will be helping communities come closer, bridge differences, form alliances and partnerships and enrich you life and those of others.
A three day festival of awareness, remembrance, acceptance, justice and celebration.
In GLNS with a healthy culture, our Board and Volunteers are motivated by the success of the teammates and the Society at large, morale is kept high by mutual meeting of expectations and goals. In this sense, every volunteer is a signal to a society’s core values and goals and every volunteer’s ideals and ethics has the capacity to shape the culture and values. As a society that has been in business now for the last 10 years, we are now than ever to focus on rapid growth, things such as events, place, culture and identity that can get lost in the fray. In fact, any period of growth is an easy time to lose sight of these important elements, sometimes with deadlines looming, stakeholders watching and the bottom line needing to be justified, this is when priorities become hard to juggle. This Society has achieved success in a short time. Through all of this, our core identity has endured and evolved, the key has been keeping both leaderships, Board, Volunteers, and Community Members engaged in the process.
