Our Services

We often come together during our events, programs, and activities to participate, learn, share, encourage, celebrate and therefore, build up one another, and promote the UN declaration on "the Decade for People of African Descent, UN Human Rights and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)  born at the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in Rio de Janeiro in 2012.

Refugees

Newcomer integration, and settlement, especially for the African Diaspora from the Great Lakes Region of Africa, who speak Kiswahili.

Designed to help seniors and their families stay informed about the assistance available to seniors in our province

Arts, Culture & Heritage

We organize Festivals and events featuring local, national and invited international entertainers, and dynamic artist.( the Mashujaa, Harambeecouve, Nakhatandi, and youth events and programs

Language

Promoting diverse languages, helping refugees and newcomers navigate government services, and providing support for housing, job search including resume and skill builiding.

Outreach

Peer programs, peer support, providing food and supplies for the homeless in the DTES.

The Festival will address some issues affecting African Diasporas, especially those from the Great Lakes Region of Africa and others who arrive and settle into Canadian territory.
